Hello!
If you haven't heard of it, Campus MovieFest is the world's largest student film festival. You get one week to film and produce a film with a maximum time limit of 5 minutes. You get a laptop with Final Cut Pro on it, a Sony HD camcorder, and tripod, boom and mic, to shoot/edit your footage on.
Elijah and I participated in this at UC Berkeley, Elijah writing the screenplay and directing, and me helping out on crew. After a long long week, we produced our result, which was due Tuesday 9/15, and found out yesterday at the CMF Finale that out of a whopping 200+ entries, Elijah's film made it into the top 16!
You can watch the film (titled "We Loved and Lost Again") directly here, or through the CMF link above, where you can see the top sixteen entries. If you really liked the film (which you should), please also support it by texting "VOTE41" to "41234" to help it advance to the Western Regionals! Elijah and I are both very excited to have our film up there, as there were lots of technical problems we had throughout the film (sound, lighting, focus), but overall we think the finished product looks good overall.
---------------
Meanwhile, we have finished filming everything for our Jin-Guo short, but because of CMF, editing has been delayed. But we will start the editing process very shortly, and hopefully get this film out by the end of September! We'll keep you posted.

Filming Begins!
Greetings!
We have finished our first day of filming for our new short film, which we intend to be at least somewhat funny.
Elijah and I will be working over the next week to get all the shots we need to put together our next creative work. Because school is starting for us, it might take a bit of time to edit everything together. Hopefully we'll have everything finished somewhere in September!
Stay tuned!

Greetings!
First blog post! A good five months after we produced "Jizz In My Pants - Nerd Remix," too.
You may have thought that we just threw together that video as a one-time thing, but no; Elijah and I are definitely going to be making more videos in the future. We've both been busy, finishing up our sophomore years at UC Berkeley, but now summer is here and there is [a tad more] time!
We are currently in the brainstorming/early writing stages of producing a short comedy, and plan to release it before summer ends. We'll keep you posted on more details as they come. Meanwhile, thank you everybody for all the support from our music video! We're slowly approaching 400,000 hits, and have almost 600 subscribers; not bad for a first video on YouTube?
Recently Elijah's friend discovered that we have a small blurb written about us in Heeb Magazine, a picture here (apologize for bad quality, taken via phone): http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/8635/img0218d.jpg
The text reads:
"Jizz In My Pants, Nerd Remix"
Jin-Guo Productions
More than 100,000 YouTubers have gotten a rise out of this geeked-out remix. Although nothing gets your hard drive humming like "I jizzed in my pants" spelled out in html, the concept of a preemie nerd is too obvious. Warrants one pass-along to your lab partner.
In other news, Elijah produced a short film through GIANT, the UC Berkeley Film Club, and you all should check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EfxQ87Zfmk.
We will be back with more updates to come!
